Milano Santa Giulia is a business and innovation district masterplanned by Foster+Partners and being developed by Lendlease and Milano Santa Giulia SpA.  The €2bn includes 30,000 square metres of office space, up to 3,000 square metres of associated retail space and the option to acquire the completed Sky HQ.

The challenge was how to make a slightly forgotten project seem urgent and relevant. This presented the opportunity to engage with the debate on the future of work and the workplace and so position Lendlease as a thought leader in the rapidly evolving commercial market.  We led a brainstorm workshop to shape the Human @ The Center concept. We consulted on speakers and designed a mass participation VR launch event that found a new voice for the district and put the audience at the centre of the concept.  We made something memorable and got the market talking.
